Jack Michel is an Australian actor and filmmaker with leading roles across independent features, acclaimed shorts, and streaming television. He starred as Alex in the feature film Cerulean Blue (Stan; Amazon Prime UK/US), which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2019.

His screen credits include ABC’s Why Are You Like This? (2021), the indie feature All Night Gaming (dir. Michael Cusack, 2010), and shorts such as All the Light That Never Fades (2020), The Price of Chewing Gum (2021), and The Kiss (2017).

As a filmmaker, Jack wrote, directed, and produced the suspense short Intrusion, which was featured on Short of the Week and Film Shortage, and won him Best First-Time Director at the Academy Award-qualifying TopShorts Festival. He trained at the University of Wollongong (BCA – Performance and Creative Writing) and studied drama throughout his youth at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre.

Alongside his acting career, Jack is also an accomplished vocalist, having performed as a rock singer for multiple bands, including his own project TABLÓMOTÏF.
