Jack Michel is an Australian actor and filmmaker based in Sydney and founder of TableauxMotif. His film work is often built around performance, often acting in his own work, while also collaborating as an actor across external projects.
Acting
Jack Michel is an actor working across film and performance, with extensive training and experience spanning both independent and feature projects.
He played the lead role in the feature film Cerulean Blue, which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival and is available on Stan in Australia and Amazon Prime in the UK. His performance in All The Light That Never Fades earned him Best Actor at festival level.
His training includes study with Larry Moss and Elizabeth Kemp, as well as a Bachelor of Performance from the University of Wollongong. He has also trained extensively in the Perdekamp Emotional Method (PEM Studios, Melbourne). Alongside his directing work, he continues to collaborate as an actor across external projects.
Acting is central to Jack Michel’s work, with lead roles across both his own films and in collaboration with other filmmakers.
